1. Introductions, apologies and substitutions
There were no apologies.
2. Inquiry into the provision of affordable housing
2.1 Chartered Institute of Housing Cymru
The Chair welcomed Keith Edwards and Victoria Hiscocks from the Chartered Institute of Housing Cymru.
2.2 Centre for Housing Policy, The University of York
The Chair welcomed Professor Steve Wilcox.
The Clerk agreed to circulate the paper from Professor Wilcox. Additional questions from Members would be submitted to Professor Wilcox for a written response.
2.3 Shelter Cymru and Cymorth Cymru
The Chair welcomed JJ Costello from Shelter Cymru and Joy Kent from Cymorth Cymru.
Shelter Cymru agreed to provide a breakdown of figures relating to empty homes.
The Clerk to write to Kent Local Authority, to ask for details on
their model for dealing with empty homes.
2.4 Review into Affordable Housing for Deputy Minister for Housing in the previous Assembly Term
The Chair welcomed Sue Essex.
